GALVESTON, TEXAS – Moody Bank’s Hanna Holliday and Jessica Karigan have been selected by the Galveston County Daily News. The Class of 2023, which includes men and women, are being honored for making a difference in their professions and giving back to the local community. They represent a broad range of occupations and highlight the diversity of businesses in the Galveston County area.

Hanna Holliday has been with Moody Bank for five years. Her job at Moody Bank is to be the liaison between our communities needs and the banks responsibility to give back. She works with non-profit organizations to help with any needs they may have, from funding to volunteer needs. She’s also a board member on the Galveston Island Meals on Wheels board as well as the Advocacy Center for Children of Galveston County. She is an active member of the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce’s C-Crewe Committee, and regularly volunteers to deliver meals every Friday for Galveston Island Meals on Wheels.

Jessica Karigan started in banking as a teller while in college and really enjoyed it. She continued to grow and learn more about banking and how much a local bank can help the community. She has now been with the bank for 15 years and has moved on to the role of Treasury Management Operations Supervisor. She is on the Board of Galveston’s Own Farmers Market and is an active member of the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce’s C-Crewe Committee.
