GALVESTON, TEXAS – Moody Bank is pleased to announce that Katherine Rodriguez has been honored as a 2024 Distinguished Alumna by the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL). This prestigious award, established by the UHCL Alumni Association in 1984, celebrates graduates who have made substantial contributions to society and who exemplify professional and personal achievements that bring honor to the institution.

A proud 2001 UHCL graduate, Rodriguez earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Today, she is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and an Advisory Board member at Moody Bank in Galveston, Texas. Her leadership within the banking industry has extended beyond her executive role, highlighting her commitment to community and professional development.

Rodriguez’s service includes a position on the Smith-Hutson Endowed Chair of Banking Advisory Board at Sam Houston State University, as well as an appointment to the Dallas Federal Reserve’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council, where she provides insights on economic and financial trends impacting local communities.
