GALVESTON, Texas — Moody Bank has donated to the Texas Bankers Foundation Flood Relief Fund to assist Texas communities impacted by the widespread flooding and severe storms affecting much of the state.

The fund was reopened by the Texas Bankers Foundation in response to the devastating flooding across Southwest Texas, the Hill Country, and surrounding regions. Working alongside state and local partners, the Foundation is helping direct resources to communities facing significant damage and ongoing recovery efforts.

“As a Texas community bank, we understand that our responsibility extends beyond banking. It includes standing with our communities when they need us most,” said Vic Pierson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moody Bank. “The families and businesses impacted by these floods are facing extraordinary challenges, and we are honored to support the Texas Bankers Foundation Flood Relief Fund. We remain committed to helping strengthen the resilience of the communities that have placed their trust in us for more than a century.”

Chris Furlow, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Texas Bankers Association, added, “The response from banks across Texas continues to demonstrate the very best of our industry. We are grateful to Moody Bank for its generous support of the Texas Bankers Foundation Flood Relief Fund. Partnerships like these ensure that resources reach the communities that need them most and help our fellow Texans begin the long road to recovery.”

Moody Bank’s contribution reflects its longstanding commitment to supporting Texas communities in times of need. The bank recognizes that recovery extends well beyond the immediate response and requires strong partnerships among nonprofit organizations, businesses, financial institutions, and local leaders.
