Jennifer is a Vice President, Wealth Advisor in the Wealth Management and Trust Department, at the Main Banking Center in Downtown Galveston. She joined Moody Bank in 2019 when she became a full-time resident. Jennifer provides professional, fiduciary oversight of Trusts, carrying out the intentions of Grantors for their beneficiaries and generations to come. In addition to the day-to-day management of Trusts and their assets, she considers it an honor to work on behalf of families. She brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in the Houston-area business sector in project management, client relations, sales, and business management. Jennifer has a strong commitment to the Galveston community supporting small businesses, serving on local boards, volunteering with several non-profit organizations, and participating in the Chamber of Commerce.
Jennifer’s advice for new customers is:
“I think it's important to identify what you WANT and NEED from your wealth management and banking relationships and convey that at the start of any new conversation. Gathering input from friends, neighbors and local business owners can often provide valuable information, but perhaps the most important factor is to trust your instincts…know what you want and need, and expect that from your wealth management and banking providers.”
Jennifer graduated Cum Laude from Stephen F Austin State University. She grew up in East Texas and spent many summers in Galveston. She became a “weekender” in 2011 and moved here full-time in 2019.
She volunteers for the Galveston Arts Center, Access Care of Coastal Texas, Meals on Wheels, the Galveston Island Humane Society, First Lutheran Church’s Feed Galveston, and Galveston’s Own Farmers Market. She serves on the Galveston Arts Center Board of Directors and is also a member of Financial Women in Texas.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys teaching yoga, gardening, birdwatching, walking on the beach, spending time with her family, enjoying live music and the Galveston ArtWalk.
